This is a small garden incorporating several different features including a York stone wall, steps up to a paved area with pergola and trellis, a gravel path with brick edge and planting.

This garden was designed and built with the elderly owners needs in mind. The paving is non slip and the raised bed is at the perfect height for gardening whilst seated. The slate mulch on the planting areas adds to the low maintenance brief.

This roundabout is on a major trunk road. The planting scheme was designed for all year round interest. The project has been maintained by us since implementation.

These raised beds were built at a care home to enable the elderly residents to work in the garden with ease. Climbers were planted to creep up the pergola after construction to create an area of shade within the seating area.

Another easy to maintain garden for the professional client with limited time to look after the small garden. A non-slip circle of paving creates a focal point and area for a table and chairs. A Yorkshire board fence with climbers and planting mulched with red gravel completes the garden.

This is an informal pool with stream and waterfall. We used wooden railway sleepers to retain the planting, paving and gravel from pool area.

A bespoke timber decking bridge over the pond leads to natural stone stepping strips with gravel and planting leading to a paved area and summer house beyond.

This is a large paved area ideal for outdoor entertaining. The scheme has an integrated drainage system, bull nose steps with stone risers, cobble retaining wall with raised bed and water feature.

We lay all our paving on a bed of mortar and concrete. Finally the paving joints are pointed with a wet mortar and brushed for the best finish.

This area was seeded with a wild flower blend. This large area was initially a rough overgrown field. We prepared for seeding by ploughing, cultivating and raking to get the desired finish to apply the seed and rake it in.

The wildflower meadow two years on.

This was a large project incorporating a 16 metre long canal with associated pond lighting and stepping stones over. Turfing, planting, gravel paths and a seeded wild flower meadow complete the garden.

A slate monolith water feature with sunken reservoir edged with small cobbles and finished with plum slate, ideal for the smaller garden and a big attraction for garden birds.
